Autumn Carpenter
Autumn didn't just stumble into the sweet industry. She has been around cake artist, bakers, and candy makers her whole life. In the early years, she would visit her grandparents, Mildred and Wilbur Brand's retail cake and candy supply store, Country Kitchen. Her grandmother was a huge source of inspiration as her grandmother was constantly dreaming up candy recipes, teaching classes, and filling up her grandchildren with delicious sweets. In her teen years, her parents, Vi and Ed Whittington took over Country Kitchen. From Autumn's late teen years to just a few years past, Autumn worked closely with her mother. Her mother instilled a strong work ethic as well as inspired creativity with her booklets, products, and cake projects.

Currently Autumn co-owns Country Kitchen SweetArt with her husband and mother. Country Kitchen SweetArt remains a large retail cake, candy, and baking supply store with over 14,000 retail square feet. The business also has a website which ships the confectionary supplies all over the world.

Autumn owns a second company, Summit Baking Supplies, with her husband. Summit Baking Supplies distributes and manufacturers Sweet Elite Tools as well Autumn Carpenter Designs. Designing product is Autumn's favorite aspect of the confectionary industry. Autumn Carpenter Designs are tools, cutters, and texture mats that have a modern design and an affordable price. Sweet Elite Tools came to be in 2013 after several of her friends who own bakeries were sitting together at dinner. After talking about all the cool tools they wished were in the market, Autumn decided there's no reason she couldn't become the manufacturer and distributor for her friends.

Autumn other passion is teaching and sharing the love of the art. She travels a few times a year teaching, has a Craftsy class with thousands of students enrolled, and has also authored several books. The majority of her books have remained on Amazon's best seller books for cakes and cookies for over three years.
